MID-WEEK INSPIRATION #14
MY NEW YEAR’S WISH FOR ALL
Putting the 2021 year into perspective has been challenging to say the least. This past year felt very much like a repeat of 2020 in that I feel, the world hasn’t changed much at all. Our governments haven’t grown wiser and certainly are no more attentive now to the people’s wants or needs.
The mainstream media continues to spew out repetitive negative vibes with absolutely no thought to the monumental tolls it’s taking on those of us who just want the truth (the real truth that is), with a sprinkle of joy thrown in along the way to give us hope that there is light to be found at the end of this seemingly very long tunnel.
I see people growing more cold and distant every day. Once we were able to look at one another and smile or nod – basically acknowledging that we are alive and seen. Where it was once enjoyable to go out to run errands and compliment another either on their fabulous ensemble or seriously creative hairdo – we now slink past each other in somber silence, barely noticing anything.
I feel we are living a life in the shadows, afraid to raise our heads and show that we are alive. We are not all sheep to be herded this way and that way in accordance to what those in power tell us is or is not the right way to live our lives. Our creator clearly gives us those guidelines and because of free will – WE GET TO CHOOSE FOR OURSELVES! Please remember choice isn’t about being popular and more often than not, leads to being quit unpopular, but living a deliberate heart driven life is the ultimate path to overcoming every obstacle.
I for one, respect everyone’s choice right up to the moment they attempt to force their choice/will upon me. This is when I have an issue. This is when I stand strong and tall for me. Not to impart my will onto them or try to change their minds and I won’t even judge them for their beliefs or opinions, but I will not be coerced into doing, saying or feeling something that goes against the very fiber of my sovereign being and you shouldn’t either.
My New Year’s wish for all! Stand strong for yourself! Put in the time and energy to research any unanswered questions you may have about anything and don’t be swayed by the first bits of information that may be revealed – push on and on until your curiosity has been truly tempered.
Be kind to yourself. Take the time to do what calms your soul, makes you happy and ultimately brings you to a place of peace within.
Deliberately put forth into the world – love, compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude as this will resonate throughout all human consciousness and it does make a difference, even if you can’t see it.
Lastly, make a difference in someone’s life – a kind word or some random act of kindness can unknowingly change a life in ways you can never imagine – Be the change you want to see in the world.
Blessings to all!
